Uncle Tetsu‘s most recent addition to the family of Cheesecake shops has opened its doors to the public a few months ago. Located in the heart of Unionville on Main Street, this particular location sets itself apart from the other downtown locations by offering your not so average Sakura Cheesecake. Luckily enough for us, we were able to sample Uncle Tetsu‘s Sakura Cheesecake along with their Yuzu Cheesecake.
The cheesecake holds a different kind of texture as it involves no baking. Each Sakura cheesecake is made with Uncle Tetsu’s secret ingredient. I personally preferred the Sakura Cheesecake over the Yuzu Cheesecake. The yuzu was slightly too sour for my liking but the Sakura Cheesecake was a winner for me – with its sweet and subtle flavours.
