One of my fondest moments in London was my afternoon tea experience at the Sanderson Hotel. When I think what I must do in London, I think afternoon tea – which is something one definitely needs to try when they’re over in the UK. There was a huge list of highly rated afternoon tea options. Sketch London was amongst the many but we ultimately decided to choose this uniquely themed “Alice in Wonderland” Tea party.
We loved our whole dining experience from the ambiance, service, decor and even to the tiniest detail of the “Alice and Wonderland” themed cutlery. When my friend first suggested the Madhatter’s tea party initially, I was a bit hesitant, I thought the experience would be too cutesy for me but it was the complete opposite than what I imagined. The overall decor was very elegant and classy – the tea set itself was very cute but not in an overwhelming type of way.
I’m a salty type of girl. I never really crave for sweets. I savoured every last bite of the sandwiches from the bottom plate and slowly enjoyed the sweet plates.
