In celebration of SUBWAY Canada‘s newest premium product, we were invited to venture off for the day to the Country Apple Orchard in King City. We were joined by SUBWAY Canada‘s executive chef, Chris Martone as well as representatives from the Turkey Farmers of Canada. Together, we enjoyed a lovely 3 course meal introducing SUBWAY Canada‘s new 100% Canadian Carved Turkey Sandwich which is available starting October 11th nationwide at participating SUBWAY restaurants (for a limited of time).
Upon arrival at the Country Apple Orchard, we were greeted with IZZE sparkling juices, available exclusively at SUBWAY. IZZE sparkling juice beverages are made with 100% real fruit juice from concentrate, with no added sugar, no preservatives and no caffeine, making them the perfect sandwich pairing.
Our adventures at the Country Apple Orchard began with a hay ride! As it was a bit chilly that particular day, the team at Veritas were well prepared ensuring we were all wrapped in blankets. We drove past hundreds and hundreds of apple trees.
After our hay ride, we were greeted with some of the best canapes to snack on before our sit down lunch!

The table setting had such lovely touches – from the mason jars to the place mats and even the warm blankets on each chair. We were all sat on one side of the table whilst being able to look out onto the apple orchard throughout the duration of our lunch.

After our lovely lunch, we were each given a bag to go apple picking! There are approximately 4500 apple trees with at least 12 different types of apples to choose from.
