Organic Week Launch Dinner – COTA x CLIF Bar

Last week we attended the official launch dinner for this year’s National Organic Week hosted by COTA (Canada Organic Trade Association) & Clif Bar. This launch was held at the celebrated Cafe Belong restaurant at the Evergreen Brick Works. Our dinner for the evening was designed by renowned Chef and Food Network Star, Brad Long who designed a special local and organic menu for us.

Clif Bar is a proud supporter of Canada’s Organic Week (Sept 17th-25th), which is the largest annual celebration of organic food, farming and products across the country.

Signature Clif Bar Cocktail

  • Wiser’s, Peach nectar, Vanilla Syrup and Lemon
  • I’ve never enjoyed a signature cocktail as much as I enjoyed this one. Fruity, Citrusy and goes down super smooth.

Some new and exciting trends have been revealed thanks to the Canada Organic Trade Association’s second national consumer survey to be released later this year. The study aimed to understand consumers’ awareness of the benefits of organic agriculture, uncover consumer’s organic purchasing habits and gauge the level of trust Canadians have in organic and non-organic claims.
