L-Eat Express

Having told a few friends that I LOVE breakfast anytime of the day – my friend and I woke up bright and early last week (5AM to be exact)  to check out L-eat Express (@LeatExpress) – a quaint little cafe located near the corner of Spadina and Adelaide.

We arrived at L-Eat Express right when it opened at 7:30 AM and behold a large spacious cafe with lots of natural lighting pouring into the eatery. L-Eat Express offers pastries, breakfast & lunch items like sandwiches and salads, fresh cookies and muffins! They also do catering if thats something that interests you!

A few high top tables running down the restaurant  – surrounded by smaller tables and few leather couches in the corners. Its quite a comfortable setting to sit back, relax – read a book sipping on a latte!

Galore of freshly baked bagels and deliciously looking muffins!

Speciality Latte ($3.50)

Banana French Toast ($7.00)

  • with maple syrup
  • fresh banana slices with maple syrup served on the side. This was quite tasty & savoury but I personally prefer my toast to be a bit softer and not as crunchy

Grilled Vegetable Omelette ($7.00)

  • 3 eggs, grilled vegetables, gruyere cheese and crispy potatoes
  • The omelette was incredibly delicious – eggs were perfectly seasoned. The melted cheese and the nicely roasted vegetables were oozing out of the scrambled eggs.
  • The crispy potatoes were a nice compliment!

Peameal Bacon Sandwich ($7.25)

  • Pommery aioli, tomato and greens
  • Honestly, this was quite the breakfast sandwich – loaded with lots of tomatoes and greens! A little messy to eat but quite satisfying

Chocolate Chunk Cookie ($2.25)

  • As if what we’ve eaten wasn’t enough food, we were each given a chocolate chunk cookie on our way out!

L-Eat Express is located near the corner of Adelaide & Spadina and it’s quite a relaxing place to visit if you wanted to grab an early coffee or even read a book. They also have free wifi if you wanted to surf on the net. Here’s the link to their menu: (CLICK HERE) – its actually the FULL menu + catering as well.

Thanks for reading guys 🙂
