The Drake One Fifty (Twitter: @TheDrakeHotel / Instagram: @TheDrakeHotel / Facebook: DrakeOneFifty) is now officially serving weekend brunch to all you brunch lovers out there! Located in the heart of the financial district, Chef Corrado and his culinary team have created a unique menu celebrating the season’s light flavours and bountiful produce that support many local purveyors and farmers. Last Saturday, I had the opportunity to sample a few items from their newly launched brunch menu & also had a quick Classic Drake Caesar 101 Session.
Blueberry Scones ($11.00)
- Clotted Cream & Jam
The Drake’s acclaimed mixology team have crafted a cocktail program to perfectly complement the new brunch menu. We were given a quick Classic Drake Caesar 101 session. This was pretty fun!
Hot Smoked Salmon Benedict ($17.00)
- dill hollandaise, salmon roe, toasted sesame
Drake Breakfast ($17.00)
- Skillet corn bread, breakfast sausage, bacon, 2 eggs, chicharrones, BBQ bean puree
Omelette ($16.00)
- Bulgarian feta, grilled shiitake furikake, baguette crostini
Pancakes ($15.00)
- Miso banana caramel, chocolate cream
My favourites were definitely the Salmon Benedict, Omelette & Pancakes. As a matter of fact, I would totally order the pancakes over and over again – the miso banana caramel & chocolate cream complimented the fluffy pancakes perfectly.
Drake One Fifty offers brunch Saturday & Sunday between 11AM-3PM.
