I know I might be the last person in the bandwagon to give Spin Toronto (@Spin_Toronto) a visit but hey – I finally made my way over last week for a sneak preview for their spring menu. Introducing Spin Toronto’s new head chef, Nichole McLellan (from Grazing Goat in the UK & Mercatto) – we had a fun experience chatting with her whilst tasting her latest culinary creations!
Spin Galactic is a ping-pong entertainment venue and restaurant located in the King West area – where you can enjoy sipping on cocktails and snacks whilst immersing yourself into an intense game of ping pong 🙂

Trying to concentrate on taking pictures whilst trying very hard to not watch the ping pong games going on around was quite a task. The highlights for me from their spring menu was the fish board ( I love sea bass and trout) keeping in mind that I have a high tolerance for “fishiness”. The fried green tomatoes were quite something something – in the sense that it was unique to deep fry something so healthy. I loved the hint of sourness in the green tomatoes but it was offset with all the batter going on! Lastly, I wished I would have loved the Braised west grey beef sandwich more… It was quite the messy sandwich to indulge & really loved the flavours in the first bite but grew saltier with each bite I took. If the braised west grey beef was marinated a bit lighter it would have made the perfect sandwich!
Nonetheless, if you’re ever down for a match of ping pong X dinner all in one convenient location for a casual night out – Spin is the place!
